Tyler Chernesky, Associate Pastor at Christ Community in Kansas City, brings the last installment of "The Talk" series. Through his own story of discovery that started in shame and ended acceptance, Tyler calls the student body to embrace and show Christ's grace, compassion, and love for the LGBT community. 

Peter Hong, lead pastor of New Community Covenant Church in Chicago, kicks off the 3 part series titled "The Talk." Pastor Hong theologically challenges our society's views on sex by speaking of a covenant that harvests fearlessness, grace, and acceptance. 

Director of University Ministries Chris Lash gives the next installment of the "Hey Fam" series in 1 John. Chris points out that real encounters with Jesus equals real change, because through Him all are given a new identity. This identity affirms that we are forgiven, known, and victorious through Christ.

Noel Castellanos, President and CEO of the Christian Community Development Association and well-known advocate for Latino communities across the country, speaks of Jesus' example and commandment to love the overlooked and impoverished of the world. Because all are one through Christ, we must support and stand up for our brothers and sisters of all cultures, backgrounds, and languages. 

Pastor Joe Thorn, lead pastor of nearby Redeemer Fellowship Church, takes the student body through the next installment of the "Hey Fam" series in 1 John. He shares what authentic followers of Christ do: Live in Light, embrace the reality of sin, and trust Jesus. Only through the Light can the darkness of the world be reconciled. 

Pastor Paco Amador, the lead pastor at New Life Community Church in Lawndale, Chicago, uses the 3 pre-kingship stages of David's life to show how God prepared him for the rest of his life: the cave, the crowd, and the question. Through compelling stories and truths Pastor Paco declares that when our mission is disciple-making, we will make disciples wherever we go. 

Author, speaker, and counselor Mike Foster shares his most basic theology of the world: There is nothing in someone's life so broken it can't be mended, so lost it can't be found, and so dead it can't be resurrected by Jesus. God continues to make all things new on earth, and He gives power for normal people to do acts of tiny greatness in His Name.

Steve Carter, a teaching pastor from nearby Willow Creek Community Church, drives students to be aware, invest in, and flourish in the uncomfortable of their lives. By looking at the charge given in Acts 1:8, God's people are called to be witnesses in even the most unknown and uncomfortable parts of the world.
